Invitation to stakeholder event 4 October 2017
We would like to invite you to a stakeholder workshop on Wednesday 4 October to discuss some of the current workforce challenges at the Friarage Hospital which are starting to impact on a number of key services including our provision of critical care and 24/7 anaesthetics cover at our Friarage site.
The purpose of the event, which will be held in Hambleton Forum (opposite the Friarage Hospital) from 2pm to 4pm, will be to:
- Share our current challenges so we can open up discussions and work together to try and resolve these issues and shape any proposals going forward.
- Gather your feedback and thoughts on how we can deliver safe and sustainable services in the long-term from our Friarage site, given the issues we face.
Understandably, concerns are already being raised about the future of the hospital across the wider communities we serve, so it is important to reiterate that the Friarage Hospital is an integral part of our organisation and key point of service delivery.
At this stage we want as many people as possible take the opportunity to understand the issues and get involved, so we can work together to develop a vision, strategy and a sustainable future for the Friarage.
Our event on 4 October will be closely followed by a series of smaller workshops and events located across the region which will be widely advertised.
We would be grateful if you could let us know if you would like to join us by 1 October and look forward to seeing you there. Please RSVP to our engagement partner, Standout Media at: firstname.lastname@example.org
